A lot of dots moving

The effect, which evokes the shape of a droplet hitting water, originates from a grid of points generated radially around a center. Each circle within this grid has its own height, derived from a simple sinusoidal function.

For every frame, the heights of the rings are varied, causing them to rotate and project the points onto the screen.
